Roles of Sub-Committee:

• Applying for Funding.
• Find out closing dates and allow plenty of time.
• Identify Project through Executive Committee for 12 months.
• Make contact with Funder and ask questions.
• Prepare Budget (1 or 2 pages).
• Prepare Project description (1 or 2 pages).
• Provide two references letter.
• Provide research summary.
• Prepare Introductions (1 page).
• Background:
   Current Financial position.
   Legal status.
• The Problem:
   Specific details.
   Aim to redress.
• The Project: Outline:
   How will it help the problem?
   Outline the help you are seeking from the funder.
• Objectives:
   Specific for the Project Time Frame Achievable
• Budget:
   List the cost of all items of expenditure include administration


Roles of Chairperson:

* Seek for Project/Activity OR Create new Project for the 12 months period.
* Workout the need of Funding for special project.
* Prepare budget for 12 months.
* Request or download a copy of an application.
* Go through the criteria of one of the trusts or funding foundation.
* Gather all the information before submitting an application.
* Complete the form and attach all the required documentation.
* Keep a copy for records.
* The applicant will be advised in writing if it’s declined.
